Getting Started
Listing your item
OfferTrackr will automatically track offers on your items for you, but it is not a listing service. If you don't post your item to a listing service or social media site such as Craigslist, Nextdoor, or Facebook Marketplace then nobody will know that you are selling your item.
Important!
OfferTrackr is not a listing service and does not allow buyers to search for your items at this time. You must post your item somewhere else for people to find out about it.
Listing Instructions
Every Trackr you create on OfferTrackr has a phone number and an item number associated with it. Texting the item number to the provided phone number allows potential buyers to check availability of the item and to make offers. All you need to do is let buyers know to text the phone number instead of emailing you.
To make this easy, sample instruction text is included for each Trackr that just needs to be copy and pasted into your listing description.
Where to list
Since OfferTrackr works via text messages, there is no limit to the number of places that it can be used. Some of the most popular choices are listed below.
Listing Services
OfferTrackr was designed to work seamlessly with listing services such as Craigslist. All you need to do is include the instructions in the description of your listing to let people know that they can use OfferTrackr to get instant availabilty information and make offers on your items.
Social Media Sites
OfferTrackr works well with social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram. Simply include the provided instructions in the body of your post and people will be able to make offers on it.
In person events
You don't need to limit usage to online spaces. OfferTrackr also works great for in person events such as fundraisers and charity events. Provide your guests with the phone number to text and include the item number in the item descriptions. Guests can then make offers on items that they are interested in.
